Mentor Program

Welcome to the Mentor Program at Cry Foundation! We’re all about making a real difference for inner-city youth with a fresh and inclusive take on mentoring. Our program is designed to tackle tough stuff like staying out of trouble, avoiding teen pregnancy, and dealing with the challenges of substance abuse, mental health issues, and trauma. But it’s not all serious—through fun activities like sports, music, and heritage arts, we help young people grow, heal, and build resilience in a way that feels meaningful and exciting. On top of that, we’re here to help with the important education stuff too—whether it’s figuring out applications, scoring scholarships, or handling tuition, we’ve got their backs. Our goal? To make sure every young person has the tools and support they need to chase their dreams and succeed. Let’s work together to create brighter futures, empower young lives, and build stronger, more vibrant communities!

Supporting Inner City Youth

Our Mentor Program is designed to provide guidance and support to inner city youth facing challenges such as justice impact prevention, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, and mental health trauma. Through personalized mentoring, we aim to empower and uplift young individuals to overcome obstacles and build a brighter future.

Identifying Trauma and Challenges

Our Mentor Program also focuses on identifying trauma and life challenges that may be hindering the progress of inner city youth. By providing a safe space for open communication and support, we strive to address underlying issues and help individuals navigate towards a path of healing and success.

Empowering Through Engagement

By engaging in sports activities and exploring heritage arts and history education, our mentors help participants develop essential life skills, resilience, and confidence. We believe that active involvement in positive activities can significantly impact the well-being and growth of our mentees.
